Bright fall

Yet another summer has passed. Difficult to believe that just in few days we will be heading south to spend another winter in Spain.

We haven´t done much during this summer, other than a lot of rehab exercises and swimming long, but the result is worthwhile!

Brita seems to be completely cured from her biceps damage and lately we could resume our ordinary training.

It was very careful at the beginning, I was uncertain if I could let her perform with her usual speed, tight curves and sliding to a stop but she has been perfectly fit and, of course, very enthusiastic to do something else than walking on leash.

I suppose I will keep the long leash on while strolling in the woods, to prevent any injuries in the future. With all the rocks, giant roots and fallen trees the risk of getting hurt for a dog with her speed is extremely high. A bit unfortunate decision for her and for me but I don´t want to take any chances.

I would say Prima is more careless of them two, chasing her balls and sticks seemingly without any control but she has never hurt herself.

Despite her age she acts as if she was still a puppy and I hope it will stay this way!

This fall has been exceptionally colorful. After a long and dry summer the leaves turned to all shades of red and yellow and even when the sky is grey the trees illuminate the environment.

There are not much edible mushrooms to pick this year though. Probably the rain came too late for them. But I enjoy the beauty of the those that managed to appear against the odds.

I have some plans for the nearest future and I hope for success this time!

Without going into too much details there are two puppies in sight, both grandchildren of Ruda and I intend to have both!

Let´s see what the future brings!
